A new vision for the arrival areas and common parts at Cadworks has transformed the reception into a welcoming and versatile extension of the workplace.

The reconfigured arrival area provides a range of flexible settings that tenants and visitors can use throughout the working day. A versatile town hall supports presentations, events and larger gatherings, while focused workspaces and agile areas accommodate individual work, informal meetings and collaboration. Together, these spaces offer greater choice beyond the traditional office floor, encouraging interaction and fostering a stronger sense of community within the building.

The material palette balances warmth with an industrial character. Natural timber, dark ribbed finishes and black metalwork are softened by neutral upholstery, subtle colour accents and abundant planting. A living wall creates a striking focal point behind reception while reinforcing the connection to nature and occupier wellbeing.

As a WELL Gold-ready, BREEAM Excellent and EPC A-rated building, Cadworks sets a high benchmark for environmental performance and wellbeing. The refurbishment was developed in line with these credentials, prioritising flexibility, biophilic design and a comfortable, people-focused environment.

The result is a distinctive and engaging arrival experience that enhances Cadworks’ identity, supports modern working patterns and delivers lasting value for its occupiers.
